Social Studies
Students will focus on problem solving in a group situation. Click here to learn more about a story related to helping others.

Language Arts
Students will explore the genre of fantasy as they read "Dragon Gets By." When Dragon decides that it's time to go shopping, a trip to the food store becomes an adventure. Click here for a list of this week's spelling words taken from our wonderful story.

Math
Students will compare numbers using <, > symbols, establish rules for working in small groups, and give equivalent names for numbers. For additional practice, click here to download and print this practice sheet.

Science
Students will explore and identify the three common states of matter and their properties and discover how matter can change physically or chemically. Check out some neat videos and diagrams about matter.
